I have to admit that I'm not perfect at grammar and punctuation but I do hate to read the words your and you're written incorrectly. I don't know why, but it really grates within me whenever I see a sentence such as:
'Your wrong to write that'.
or
'You're book is here'.
It's not so much that people don't know how to write these words correctly that makes me seethe within, but the fact that many of them just don't care if it's written incorrectly!

I would like to think that many of those are errors that occur while typing. But it is however unfortunate to admit that many people just don't know how to write nor speak. This is something that extends far beyond the ranting of average people. All the way to the White House… The former president for example is a capital offender of butchering the English language to the point of foolery and to show just how far this goes Sarah Palin’s daughter didn’t even know the definition of the word abstinence, which explains a lot when you think about that.
